Fellow outcasts, what will you be doing this Friday and Saturday?

This thread is for the fellow outcasts of the misc, the lonely, forgotten ones excluded and unwelcomed by society. Those with friends and a social life please stay out and do not make us jealous

What are your plans this Friday and Saturday?

I will be watching netflix and going to the gym by myself both days.

Currently watching like 4 different shows at the same time, Ozark (cartel drug series), All of us are dead (korean zombies), Undercover, and Who killed Sara, an interesting show about the mysterious death of a girl, and a man wanting to seek vengeance.

Why not go out alone to a local bar and get lucky? Do you enjoy being alone?

I might go to the strip club this weekend. I met this hot Latina stripper that I got a couple lap dances from.

I wanna see more of her.

Being around crowds who do not care about me makes me feel more alone, than if i was alone at home.

i feel the same way, honestly i could take or leave sex. honestly wouldnt be too bothered if i never had sex again. seems more of an inconvenient obligation than a pleasure tbh. but then im married so i guess that explains it

Does it get confusing watching 4 shows at the same time? Do you line the tvs up next to each other or surround yourself with tvs? Or maybe picture in picture.

Anyways after my divorce years ago I didn't have any friends to hang with except two who were married with kids and didn't really have or make time for me. If you want friends you have to make an effort. Talk to people you see regularly at work, at class if you're in college, at the bar you're a regular at, etc... (I don't mention the gym because tbh I don't like to be bothered while lifting and assume others don't) Find common interests and go so stuff related to them, car shows, hiking, whatever and seed if they want to go. Thats how you make friends. Also if you go on dates that don't work out romantically they can still be chill to hang with and introduce you to women.

If that's too much work i suggest taking up fishing. I fish exclusively by myself because most people think fishing involves getting too drunk to tie a knot whereas I actually try to learn the water. Fun hobby.

Oh i didn't mean 4 shows at once, i mean switching between 4 shows. Most of the series have like 10 episodes and 3 seasons. So i might watch like 2 episodes of one show, then switch to a different show etc. The storylines do get confusing and its hard to keep up.

Thats great advice. I do talk to people sometimes, but most likely its small talk and sometimes we never see eachother again. I don't know how to turn small talk into a friendship, im pretty socially awkward. I do have lots of acquiantances, who if we see eachother, we will talk a little bit and greet eachother, but they are not friends who i can call and hang out with personally

Fishing is fun indeed, used to do it years back

I try and duke through one show, rather than watch numerous at the same time. I am working through 'Breaking Bad' right now, then will check another series when I am done. I dunno if it wll be Cobra Kai, or 'All of us are Dead' or something else.

I intersperse shows with the odd movie.

Where do you watch breaking bad? I heard its one of the best shows ever.

I tried getting through Ozark, but lots of the episodes got boring and its 4 seasons long.

Cobra Kai is amazing! I loved it. IF you watch it i recommend watching karate kid before that so you understand the show better, cobra kai is the sequel

I quit martial arts for a few reasons, it was a lot more expensive, its like an hour drive compared to 5 min to my local gym, i didn't enjoy it as much. Also i didn't really meet anyone there, im even more of a loner there then my local gym where i know at least a few people.

Maybe i will try it again soon and give it another go

Netflix. I finally just caved and signed up a few weeks ago. I did have NOW TV but just felt that I had watched anything worth watching (Like Banshee, The Sopranos, GOT ). There were countless shows, but most seemed mediocre or just not my thing.
