the best war movie ive ever watched

if you havent seen this, give it a watch. watch the german version with subtitles though. none of that dubbed shiet.

its on netflix.

imo its more so other things while still being a war movie though, if that makes any sense. its like the war aspect of the story is in the background.

yeah true, it's basically a psychological thriller that just so happens to be set in vietnam during the war

but yeah it's an absolute masterpiece

The Thin Red Line kinda reminded me of it as well (only just recently saw that, was kinda mind blown when I found out it released in the same year as Saving Pvt Ryan)
