Dinner/10

Cold days calls for some stew and I got some homemade bread in the oven.

Happy weekend everyone!

Oh yes. It's that time of year, isn't it?

It's been a while since I've busted out my slow cooker, although I still BBQ outside in -20 weather regularly wearing a wifebeater and flip flops (srs)

Nothing like grilled meats 365 days out of the year.

Nothing fancy just a couple loaves of white bread which I use for dipping.

I used red potatoes but yellow potatoes taste great too so use what you like. I threw in 2 small cans of beef broth and 3 tablespoons of lipton onion soup mix. I'm not a fan of onions but the mix adds some nice flavor. Season to your preference for taste.

You cook all the time. I have a recipe I think you might like so I'll send it to you.

Edit: Just sent, it's a slow cooker recipe.
