Anybody else have "Imposter Syndrome?"

Just like one day your employer/the world is going to figure out that you're just faking it till you make it and pull the rug from under you and you'll have to find some remedial job that an idiot like you should actually be working?

Even at 36, after being with this company for 4 years, being promoted 3 times, receiving great yearly's, having a Finance Degree and 13 years experience....I still have these feels at least once/week.....Like I'm going to wake up one day and lose it all b/c I've just been "skating by" even though in the eyes of my superiors, I'm doing well.

Is it "Imposter Syndrome" or just more of "I don't want to lose what I've worked so hard for"........?

(This is not a brag)...I make great money for the area of the country I live, I live in a nice neighborhood with a big house, have many hobbies and side projects, in a great marriage.... but I guess growing up and coming from a Lower Middle Class (At BEST) family, constantly struggling....I just feel like it's all undeserved and one day it's all going to be stripped away.

Anybody else have these feels?

When I got a raise from 78k to 100k, I thought it wouldn't last... but now I've made over that at 3 separate gigs so my mood about it has changed and I just ask for even more

Assuming I'm understanding your premise, you don't have a syndrome - you're a dishonest douchebag.
I'm not talking about padding your resume to sell yourself.
I'm saying anyone who talks themselves up to the degree that they are hired for job that they aren't qualified for is a piece of sh*t who screws every coworker. If you're that guy, trust me, you're coworkers know and they don't like you. They'll smile at you and have long meaningful conversation with you because they're probably mature enough to understand a good work environment versus a toxic one is a choice - however, just know they are motherf*cking your name behind your back every single day.

I think it's less of my employers fault and more of my self esteem issue, that's just becoming more apparent because I'm doing better in life than I thought I was going to.

I think this is part of it. I live in Rural Georgia, but get paid a Salary that is adjusted for Miami.....I work remotely...... So I make like 3.5x the Household income in this area. I've even gotten better offers from other companies (from people I used to work with at this company who've left to work for other companies) in the last couple months but it just doesn't feel real/deserved.

You've misunderstood.....I'm not that guy pal. Maybe I didn't relay well.

I'm the "doer" on the teams that I work with. I work with 6 different PM's over 14 projects in 6 states and TBH some of the PM's are the guys you're describing....to the point that I've been sent to classes to gets certs to be able to do things that the PM should be doing but isnt, I've gotten stellar yearly reviews, raises (not just COL increases, last raise 8 months ago was 15%) every year and have been promoted 3 times in the 4 years I've been here and they continue to present me with opportunities for growth. Other people in the company complain to me about the guy they deal with that does the same job I do but for their projects and tell me they wish I had more bandwidth to take on their jobs.

I don't have the feeling that I'm an Imposter due to being in a position I'm unqualified for.......I just feel like I've done better for myself than I ever thought possible and for some reason it just feels temporary and like one day I'll be knocked back down to "where I belong"

My feeling of being an "Imposter" doesn't come from being a chitty employee, they come from having low self-esteem, being raised basically poor.... and no matter how well I do, how much praise/promotions I get, I will always have self-doubt and a feeling that one day It's all going to go away because it was all undeserved.
