I would say yes, though machines suck compared to calisthenic or free-weights.
It's still solid resistance training that you can apply to your entire body.
The main problem is more holistic...You are building a deficient body as the machines don't work all the tiny muscles and strength like free weights & calisthenics do.
But can you look jacked with only machines, hard work, and a serious diet? I'm sure you can.

Bro I built a solid chest using machine bench presses/chest presses/chest flyers. Got a decent back by doing cable rows. Of course gains were better when I moved to free weights.
Btw my ass hurts like hell from the Bulgarian split squats I did on the switch machine last night

Definitely, especially if you already have a decent base.

machines are pretty good. especially cable/belt machines. constant tension and full range of motion. thats what you want. free weights are great but the are much easier to cheat with body and inertia. i think if you had the right combo of machines you could get pretty big. obviously, a combination of both is best. hit it from every angle for a bunch of reps and sets. its that simple.

oh look another thread where some fukking moron is asking if their $10 a month planet fitness membership will have good enough equipment
Sure you CAN get a good physique with just machines. But if you have to ask, chances are you are just going to spin your wheels for years.

Yeah don't see why not if you have good diet and progressively overload. That being said free weight compound lifts are still superior for max gains and strength.
It's also much easier to track your bench, squat, deadlift, rows and OHP. Add in weighted chin ups and dips and you're pretty much set.

Limited equipment limited results simply said
