Horizon Zero Dawn's success is a remarkable feat in the gaming space. The transition to PC has become a great endeavor from what the latest post in the PlayStation Blog has stated as it's been reported that as of November 28, 2021, the game has sold over 20 million copies with a total of 1 billion hours played.

Not bad for robot dinosaurs and an ugly female protagonist

Looks like an ok game. Got it for free on some PS+ months and months ago, might eventually play it. I have heard it's pretty "woke" though, so IDK how far into it I will manage to get.

Nah it's accurate. If you look clearly on the left hand, the sunlight is washing out the line showing the separation between inner and outer hand.

I detest woke agenda in my media and this was my favorite ps4 exclusive ever. Actually, my favorite exclusive ever. The only "woke" part about it is the protagonist is female and villain is male. Which is fine to me because I don't want a female villain, they don't ever feel as threatening to me. Oh, also another thing is technologycels ended up fukking up the world due to their greed which isn't a new concept.

Also, the protagonist had a chitty upbringing, a strong father figure and during the course of the game she was shown to have weaknesses. Very stubborn and headstrong, impulsive, pretty awkward as she doesn't have great communication skills, also a ton of naivety which can be exploited.

For $8 it wasn't a bad game.

I'll watch the cutscenes on youtube of the sequel though.

The only maybe "woke" thing is a lot of the post world societies seem matriarchal in nature. But the game doesn't try to beat you over the head that females are better in anyway. Game is very worth a playthrough. One of my favorites on PS4.

LOL at the OP trying to post this as some win for Sony though. Quote even says that number was through the help of PC sales. PC master race pulling through again.

Enjoyed it a lot, it was like Far Cry (which I love) on steroids. Never got around to the DLC, I'll have to replay it.

My guy, the DLC is HNNNNNNGH. It's like a full game with an arguably better story than the original. Certainly better graphics, gameplay and robots. Higher difficulty level too. Even to get into the DLC you'll get your ass kicked by a new boss so be ready. I HIGHLY recommend playing the DLC. Not even that I order you to do it if you enjoyed the main story so much.

Bro for real. The DLC is so good. I want to replay the whole of Horizon 1 and go into 2 but I'm waiting for my ps5 because they have the 60fps upgrade.

I thought it was gonna be a dumb ass game till I actually tried it. Was pleasantly surprised and can say it's definitely one of the best video games out there. Played it on PS4 Pro 4K and the whole experience was hnngggg.

And JFL @ the Xboxcels trying to say Halo ****finite is a better video game. JFL at that robot alien cuck soldier larping ****. Trash tier game that isn't suitable for anyone above the age of 13.

Same, had no intention to ever play it except enough friends kept racing about it I finally got it a year later. It's 100X better than it appears IMO.
