I dunno my cheat has always been my best muscle group, and I notice that if I hit too much flat I get way too much under chest.

Thinking I’ll just go with incline even tho I lift less and find it less ‘fun’

Incline DB only. Barbell and any flat tweaks my shoulders these days.

I used to do all the decline bench and machines in the world, my lower chest was still horrible lol. As soon as I started doing a ton of push ups, it improved a lot lol. Whatever works, keep doing it!

True, push ups strangely do great things for chest aesthetics even tho not much weight resistance

Agreed, OP. I love incline. I don't do flat anymore. Add pushups like the poster above mentioned, and dumbbell incline too, like the other poster said, and chest will be good to go.

Same here . Incline barbell wrecks my rotators . I have no issues with dumbbells, and get a better pump .
I do use hooks to hold the heavier ones up though

Incline for definition, flat for strength, decline for width, flyes for inner separation. That used to be the belief but I think incline bench covers it all.

Don’t feel like there’s a need for incline imo…. But that’s just me.

No. Incline is too shoulder focused.

Why not do regular bench + OHP?

Also, having big juicy titties isn't a good look for a man. Look at pics of vintage body builders, and see how they used to look (normal sized pecs). The reason it changed later on is cause many of the guys organizing the body building events were gay and they wanted the men to have giant pecs cause that's what gay men like.

I agree. I do mostly all incline work and have improved what my genetics gave me.

This is not entirely true. It all depends on your form and ROM. 90% people do them wrong and put their rotator cuff at an unnecessary disadvantage.

The shape of your pecs is all genetics.

Just do whatever exercise feels right for you.

I never touch flat barbell anymore, if I do flat it’s dumbbell. Seen too many pec tears from flat bb.
