Nz govt response to antivax protestors
NZ news this weekend :
Antivax protestors have set up camp outside Parliament and refusing to go home til govt reverse the mandates.
122 people were arrested on Friday, but now the authorities have changed tactics. Instead now cops are just standing back, turned on the sprinklers and are playing endless repeat of the Macarena and vaccine ads at thrm instead.
"In an attempt to send protesters home, parliament loudspeakers have been playing some widely unloved songs, including tunes by Barry Manilow, the Macarena and, this morning, Frozen's Let It Go."
James Blunt has also offered to let NZ govt play his music, if the Frozen soundtrack doesn't work.

To be fair, I do think playing Let it Go on repeat is an especially cruel form of torture but they ARE free to go home whenever they want.
We've also been hit by a cyclone which is bucketing down in Wellington, but I don't think the govt actually had anything to do with that.
