Just saw the movie Us 2019 - am I missing something here?

Wanted to watch a horror movie. Googled and got a top 100 list off Rotten Tomatoes

Fine, went ahead and watched it. What the fuk, man? Went to youtube for the trailer and saw people commenting on how much of a genius movie it was

No, seriously, what's going on, what am I missing here? Was cringe enough to watch the beta husband throughout the movie

But what are the underground tethered people? How are the born rather? Why are there dobbelgangers just rotting underground? How are they chosen?

I have seen Get Out and it was alright, more interesting than Us at least. I won't be rushing to see his other movies. Love his skits with Key though, that **** is quality.

Don't get how you can say this movie Us is a good movie though

BE RIGHT FUKING BACK, HOW IN THE FUK DID HER DUPLICATE AND HER HAVE THE SAME FUKING KIDS/FAMILY, WHEN SHE WAS SWITCHED AS A CHILD?!?!?
-makes no sense because the project was abandoned, so no one was making duplicates down there, so no way for her kids to have been made after the fact that her twin married/had kids
-yet somehow her kids are duplicates?





Peel is so fuking overrated. He accepted that his "message" would make up for his poor writing, and stupid logic, where the average idiot is literally asked to suspend ALL disbelief simply for this movie to work...
