Home appliance brahs, any recommendations on brands of refrigerators

Misc brahs, I am in need of a new refrigerator and I have no clue what brands are chit and good. I see both a frigidaire and LG that both fit the bill in terms of space/price, but wanted to see if anyone here has any first hand experience with either. I dont need anything fancy just an ice maker, water filter, ect.

It almost doesn’t matter what brand you get now , as your almost stuck getting the extended warranty regardless now , as nothing lasts anymore.

I always talk to the sloots at HomeDepot to see what comes back the most . I’m going with Samsung, as Kenmore is no longer available here .
My Kenmore fridge is 20 years old and still kicking , as are my Kenmore washer and dryer .
Stay away from any model that has an ice maker . There a recipe for disaster

I had good luck with fridgidaire and GE. I just bought a Samsung, it sure looks good but we'll see how the quality works out.

I know it’s apples to oranges, but my friend purchased GE washer and dryer , and their absolute crap .

My coworker has front loading GE washer and dryer , and has had good luck with them , but that was a decade ago .
My friend bought the conversational style , and their garbage . He does run his often though , so they may be why their breaking down so often .
The dryer is so light it shakes all over the floor and literally unplugs itself . One dial broke , and it’s a known problem as the replacement knob has an added metal ring .
Strangely, the new washers still use the chitty version of the knob , even though there aware of the problem .
I won’t have anything to do with GE

Thanks for the input brahs, Im leaning towards the Fridgeair at this point. As for the washer/dryer debate, our LG washer/dryer did us well for the 10 years we had it, we passed those down to a friend. The new place we moved into had newer samsung units that have been good so far.

I had bad luck with my whirlpool refrigerator. It's a side by side and builds up condensation between the doors and eventually drips onto the floor. I called and complained right after I got it and they would't do anything. I threatened to make them pay to replace my wood floor if the water ever damaged it. They finally sent someone to look at it and he said there was nothing he could do do fix it.
