It's quite mindboggling that most men don't even know how to throw a proper 1-2. Btw, I live in Canada so I can't carry a gun.

Idk brah, after I started training I’m even more careful, since I see guys in my MMA gym that look small and unfit and then it turns out they are amateur or even pro MMA fighters and light me up sparring lol, you never know what someone has also in their pocket..

IMHO if you live in a communist sheithole like NY here and can’t carry a gun you gotta carry a spray or a knife like my MMA fighter buddies do. And watch where and when you’re going.

Even in a good area, you gotta carry something, it’s like a fire extinguisher, you’re never going to burn your house down, but it’s better to have a fire extinguisher than not…

Yeah, I'm not talking about getting into fights with random strangers but rather defending yourself against unprovoked attacks.

It's highly unlikely you'll randomly get assaulted by experienced fighters unless you're hitting on their girls or something.

Like to say I'm pretty confident due to boxing/sparring I've done, even though I get wrecked by the experienced guys in the gym I'm still better than the average chump who's had little to no training in there life.

That being said in a street fight anything goes as there are far too variables. Any training you do, especially when alcohol is involved or if it's group/bar fight can go straight out the window and you just start swinging haymakers.

People underestimate just how quick fights in real life escalate and finish, usually over in less than a minute.

Depends how many attackers and do they have weapons

Pure defence I’m very confident. Defending is relatively easy unless you’re drunk. It’s only when you start throwing attacks or counters that you leave yourself open and can be put off balance.

But I can guard shots pretty much all day

my self defense protocol has always been that if someone is acting aggressive and gives close enough to hit me, I am throwing 1-2 or flurry and then noping the fuk out of there before friends/cops show up

Can't really think of any situation I couldn't defend myself against tbh
