tfw waiting for a handgun permit to get a background check even though i had a background check for a firearm permit and a background check like ****ing 3-4 times already for each firearm. It'S sO eAsY tO gEt a GuN

p.s. Love Berettas. Not that they have anything to do with each other but i was considering a 1911, Beretta, and/or P226 for my first all metal hammerfire

Yeah I was surprised, my background check only took about week. When I did all my paperwork they told me 2-3 weeks. Really makes me wonder if anyone who would get denied even bothers going through the legal process, lol

And yeah 1911 was going to be a first choice, but I heard some 1911s have issues with jamming. Then again you know how the fun community can be at times. Whatever you get, it's the wrong purchase, lel

Lmao when me or my wife fill out background checks they come back in 30 minutes and we leave with the firearm 10 minutes later

But background checks are an infringement. They don’t stop crime or murder

The 1911 is a great design considering how well it stood the test of time and compares to modern stuff. My Springfield Operator is crisp and flawless with every operation. Sometimes I think I should have just bought this instead of my FNX.

Yeah crazy apparently everyone, at least in Oregon, is stocking up on guns and the state is backed up with background checks. Supposedly our lesbian lib governor was going to outlaw most guns not too long ago, and everyone went into a panic.

And I agree a lot of **** with firearm ownership is an infringement. I'm skeptical about getting a CCW because my name and information goes into a database. I'm not sure if it's public information but I will never forget our state newspaper publishing a map of all gun owners in the area. No joke.
