Canada approves Novavax for 18+

Thoughts? Too late? Don't care anymore? Would any purebloods even take it right now as opposed to if it was offered in say November/December?

To me it seems too late, it's a vaccine for an old strain, i believe this was for the OG coronavirus and now we're on omicron. Would it provide significant protection against hospitalization and death? I guess, but for many that risk is already very low. Does it wane quickly like mRNA vaccines? Wonder what they myocarditis numbers are on this one as well or other side effects/risks.

Narratives seems to be shifting but you never know when passports may be brought back again. But I guess there's not supporting corrupt POS organizations like Moderna and Pfizer or if you were just skeptical of mrna vaccines in particular.

I think CORBEVAX would be the only one I would consider if I had to get vaccinated.

Although, I cannot imagine being in a situation where I would have to be vaccinated.

Is this the non mrna one? Depending on reported results I would take this if it came to job or no jab.

But doesnt look like my work will ever go there. Especially since nearly all vaxxed management caught covid.

They dont even enforce masks anymore, just have signs and one lunatic who screeches whenever he is there.

We wear gaiters that barely block air at all anyways if it comes to it (this also triggers the mask nazi but management wont listen to his cries anymore)

yup, even my work back tracked on proof of vaccination. at first they were like you gotta get it or get put on unpaid leave, then you gotta get it or get tested on your own dime, then you have to test at the office before work. i imagine they are just going to repeal it very soon after March 1st.

Only reason i would have it is that i want to compete in the USA in July. Seems better than the other crap though.

It’s good to have more options that don’t use MRNA, but who’d want to be the test subject for this vaccine? You’d want to wait at least a few months to see the effects.

Highly doubt I will get any kind of jab ever again. The trust isn’t there and I have no reason to be fearful of the virus. Pureblood for like boyo.

Did they actually complete a conclusive trial for this one, or did they have to take the EUA route?

Regardless, I had covid, unjabbed.... Didnt die, barely felt sick. So no thanks.

This^^^ is the problem with calling these mrna treatments "vaccines".... If a "vaccine" works this poorly, people will mis-associate that word with vaccines that actually work, like shingles, chickenpox, polio, etc.

The cdc/fda has created a nightmare situation regarding vaccines that will last decades.

It will move the needle a little bit, which is a good thing. Vax rates are already pretty good in Canada though.

Yeah. A lot of us have gone from just being skeptical about covid MRNA vaccines to being skeptical about all vaccines. This pandemic has highlighted how evil big pharma can be.

I do believe the other vaccines do work and are safer than the covid vaccines, but at the same time, it’s not like I’ve done much research on the tried and tested ones that most of us had as kids.

A guy on another forum I frequent has a daughter who had her life turned upside down from the MMR vaccine. My mother’s partner’s friend’s son had his brain development stunted after getting his shot.

Anecdotal, but you best believe I’d research anything that I’d put into my future child’s body. I cannot just blindly trust these criminals.

If 1% who got covid died, it would be massive.
