Misc Physical Therapists

Lately I have had a pain in my left thigh when doing any kind of squat or leg press.

The pain only occurs during the negative(eccentric)contraction and never on the concentric.

Any idea what the problem is and how to fix?

U

I'd say it's halfway down the femur and if the middle of my thigh is 12 o'clock then it's like at 10 o'clock and IT band would be 9oclock.

Take some time away from lifting (still lift but minimal for maintenance only)

Now with that time you would normally use to lift focus on increasing the mobility of all your joint's from the waist down. From pelvis to ankle/toes. srs.
