My aunt has a female golden retriever about to have her second litter, she made 10k on the first litter. Not a bad business

My sister and her hubby was doing this for a while.

They were breeding little Yorkies, then Shibas.

They profited but it seemed like they had to do much more work. Also, it started to become puppy mill like as the dogs were kept in cages all day and only let out to eat and poo.

Its not worth it unless you have the proper land and resources to do it.

Me and my buddy have a small hobby breeding program. American Bullies to be exact. We've only had 4 litters so were still pretty new to the game but the market has been heavily saturated since the first lockdown when everyone decided to buy dogs and become breeders themselves.

Dog market went insane here where I live because of covid and wfh

1 puppy can be 5k, when they use to be under 2k
