Lel, not aware. Finally found some decent Mezcan in Nebraska and gave it a shot at home. These things have been around forever in California tho.

Truthfully I've always made tacos like this except for separating the fat from the broth to fry the tortilla and dipping in the broth-which elevates it. Give it a shot mayne.
