Hope you miscers are shopping locally and supporting small businesses

This pandemic chit has greatly impacted small businesses, some closed their doors for good. I just went to a local butcher, and stocked up on meat for a few months. They're good people, and I'd rather go there than buy frozen chit at a chain store.

I'm tired of big businesses pushing good quality small places out, and replacing them with subpar service and products. This is just a reminder that you decide who thrives and who shuts down in this economic climate. Time to put your money where your mouth is.

Agreed . I buy locally always. Since I grow most of my food and buy the rest from the local farms I can't remember the last time I stepped into a Walmart lol

Try to avoid amazon at all costs crew.

Feels much better to go out and help a local business. Sadly, many of the businesses/stores in my area have closed. Still support my barber of 20 years though who had to close her store and now works mobile. Costs a bit more now but it’s worth it.

I go to the cheapest supermarket and steal **** thru the self checkout, idk if thats a thing outside fin. Literally go there with 5bucks and get my full week of groceries.

I used to do that but they seemed to have caught on and are always watching for it now.

As you said the quality when you buy locally is always better. Not to mention the service, instead of dealing with a bs help center you can deal with a real person who understands your needs.

I have a restaurant and my oldest local supplier even has keys to the place srs. He comes in real early and leaves everything stocked and I pay him the next day.

No way I would let a random amazon driver retard do that

My barber is one of the nicest people I have ever met so I’m more than happy to remain a customer. It’s actually better now because I don’t have to sit and wait. Think it works better for her now that she has kids. Still ****ty that so many businesses were forced to close though. Felt sad walking out of her shop the day before it shut down.

How are they watching for it? Like do people come next to you? Ik they removed the mute option for the bleep. If thats the case you take a flat lollipop that cost like 0.10€ and place it over the code of the item you wanna steal. one store here still has the mute option thats what i use and theres never anyone watching over it.

I've noticed the local butchers and farmers market haven't been hit by inflation as hard as the grocery stores.

My personal conspiracy theory is that chain supermarkets are cashing in on product shortages, or at least pretending that there are. 90/10 ground beef is usually over $4lb regular price, yet my local butcher is a regular price of $3.49lb.

I think it is because local butchers source most of their stuff locally. My local butcher is actually on the ranch where much of the beef is sourced from. They have other products like alligator, bison, elk, ostrch, wagyu etc that is obviously shipped from elsewhere. But for all the local stuff you don't get his with 5 dollar a gallon gasoline and the subsequent increase in shipping costs
