Comparing yourself financially to others is exhausting

Not that everyone here does it, but I had to stop cause it was stressing me out. Learned it's ok not to be a Bill Gates or some elite athlete. As long as I'm 'above average' idc anymore

Being wealthy looks nice but there's a lot of small issues that take all the fun out of it.

I have a friend who rages when he finds out somebody is more successful than him. He thinks everything is unfair and is always switching jobs and demanding raises.

Makes him irate that I coasted through life and barely work hard at all. He will never be close to my net worth and some days I make more than he does in 2 weeks lol.


I try to never discuss finances with friends but this guy is obsessed and just likes getting mogged idk.

Just compare yourself to people in third world countries if you ever feel you are behind. You will see how lucky you are. Everyone in Western countries lives like a king compared to most of the world's population.
