Drive through car wash vs spray yourself
Which is better for a quick wash ? Not taking about 2hr detail or anything. Just something to wash the winter grime off on a sunny day.

I'd never go through a car wash. Always wash by hand

You're better off not washing your car at all than going through an automatic car wash srs
It's like using a public shower but using the same washcloth and towel that literally everyone else that used that shower in the past 5 years did

I do the self serve. The brushless wash doesn't get my rocker panels at all because it's too low. I won't let brushes touch my paint...
Still have to bring a wash mitt and give the lower panels a quick wipe while I do the wash because that **** sticks like glue.

Brushless wash started stripping paint off my ride. Never really looked clean afterwards either other than right after coming out

Truck looks clean as fuk, and if some ******* pulled out a magnifying glass to try and look for a swirl somewhere I would tell him he can fuk off. I plan on fully destroying this raptor in the long run anyways. Like I fukking care if my truck gets a swirl.

Unless you really care about your car or it’s something nice you might as well hit the car wash. The touch-less car wash is worse for your paint than standard. Standard car wash you risk swirls from fine dirt stuck in brushes. Spraying your car with a hose won’t do **** to rinse off grime. It’ll just get it wet.
You have my word as a Schons.

Also a lot of the new nicer brush car washes with unlimited washes have dudes spraying and pre scrubbing all the cars before they go through and wash their brushes.
Mine always has two guys working the entrance spraying and scrubbing peoples cars before they go through.
