Years ago as a kid I remember seeing a movie where this guy (I think Michael Caine) opened a locker and he saw a blueprint of an egg in a flask. I have looked through all the movies Michael Caine was in and never managed to find it.

The Misc has never failed to answer obscure chit when I have asked it in the past, please someone must know what movie this was! It might not have been Michael Caine but when I was a kid I thought it was so he probably looks a lot like him.

There's another movie where I never found out what it was - at the end, a woman pushing a baby in a pram was in like a park and she went up to this dude on a horse, the guy on the horse tied a bow in a ribbon a certain way and when you see how he does it you realise "it was him after all" then the movie ends, what was that one?

I saw both of these movies as a kid so, I saw them both in the early to mid 1980's.

That makes them (at the latest) late 1970's to early 1980's movies.
