Never been to Wawa but the cult following of Sheetz has never made sense to me. Seems like something Appalachian hicks just latched onto because there was nothing better to do at midnight in their podunk towns. Not even trying to be funny. I used to stop at them all the time driving between NY and VA. They’re nice gas stations with a cool food counter, but the food is still chitty gas station food. Plus a lot of chains have adapted in recent years to match their business model. Quiktrip, Fastrac, Racetrac, Circle K, just to name a few.

sheetz just sounds cooler but circle jerk is a decent substitute
