Rentcels, Do you clean your apartment when you move?
I think I paid a $150 deposit when I moved to my apartment, because they had a special. Literally see no point in wasting my time cleaning the place, when they'll probably charge me $100 for the automatic carpet clean they did in every other apartment that vacated since I lived here. Discuss. (Ded fkn Srs)

Cleaning $$$ can only be taken out of the damage deposit for abnormal use, not for just typical run of the mill cleaning
Only ever had one landlord attempt that and it was because we were renting a full house with another couple and they were not the cleanest

Hell no. I even leave floaters to assert dominance.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

I just kept it clean, gave it a vacuum and quick wipe down when I left; deposit was $700 and for whatever reason they gave me $1400 when I left. It did have roaches when I moved in because my neighbors were slobs, managed to kill them all off by spraying Ortho almost daily so it was nicer than when I moved in.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Deposits are illegal up here, so if you leave the place trashed they can't do anything anyway.
I get rid of garbage and make sure the place is swept, but that's all I'm responsible for. I'm just not a jerk about leaving the place in a horrible state.
