I used to stack silver and had a few gold coins, but when I went to sell it, there were too many hoops to jump through.

I was living in AZ and found a coin shop and had to g had to give my ID and fingerprints. I'm not a hard core Libertarian, but that really rubbed me the wrong way. Too Machiavellian.
