This alleged woman sums up my thoughts
I, too, thought Chad Read's current wife was extraordinarily bizarre in her reaction to her husband getting assassinated right in front of her. She continues arguing, etc. Reading further on this, she states she thought he was shot with a stun gun and was just out. And sure enough, when I watched the video the current wife released to the public, I hear her at the end screaming with the realization of what has actually happened. Really tragic incident. In Texas, the Castle Doctrine resonates very strongly with the citizens. I'm not so sure that the jury will see this John's way. He could very well get off. At the end of the day, a great deal of the credit for this incident belongs to the ex-wife, who was clearly messing with Chad Read. Goading him, exerting her power, using her son as a pawn, etc. Based on the dialogue, she may have displayed this kind of behavior on the regular. Despicable.

And finally, you can be "right" all the way to the grave, and tragically, that's what happened to Chad, when he believed that being in the right somehow magically protected him from a lunatic.
Keep these hoes on a leash.

AH YES THE CARBINE STUN GUN
There's no fukking way she thought it was a stun gun. Did they produce the stun gun she thought it was?

There's no castle doctrine here because it was a court arranged appointment for pickup. The shooter is an idiot. He was also interfering with custody.

Dude is going to jail and losing all of his businesses. He was clearly on some sort of power trip.

I watched it without audio, well the main incident, and I’m not surprised the tall guy blue was shot. He sees a guy pull out a gun, so he steps up on his porch to go chest to chest with him, then fling him off his own porch.

Why did this gain so much attention?

Because the guy that got shot wasn't an intruder. He was there on court ordered appointment looking for his kids. He had a legal right to be there. It wasn't even the shooter's house.

Its like murdering a pizza delivery boy over arguing about the tip then pulling out a gun while claiming castle doctrine

its not castle doctrine when the visit is arranged

Would it have made more sense to leave peacefully then get in touch with an attorney about her preventing his court ordered visitations?

Can someone actually have a “legal right” to be on someone else’s property for a child custody p/u?

Pretty sure if a belligerent individual produces a firearm when you're stopping by to pickup your kids you're going to fear for your child's safety.

That's the perspective I think people are glossing over. This was not a good shot and it wasn't even close to being self defense.

No way I would have left, but I would have called the cops. I think the victim would have done so if he wasn't provoked.

Wat? So it was his ex-wife’s house? It wasn’t martial property?

Explain that one more time

The MGTOW perspective is that both women will forget about their dead/in jail husbands and move on without them, and much sooner than you would think.

They're both splitting the shooter's assets while not having to worry about custody disputes anymore
