I come from a house with loving parents and no divorce so it's hard to answer.

I barely have a relationship with either at the moment. Had a great childhood and my parents are still together, but as an adult, I've realized my dad is a pretty insensitive azzhole so being around them both sucks. If they were divorced I'd probably get along with my mom a lot better.

I do think my mom resents me a little. She had me at 17 so her 20s were lost to being a stay at home mom.

Definitely my Dad. My mom is an abusive narcissist. She still made sure we had food and clothes though.

I love them both. They both offer their love and support in different ways.

I'm closer to my mom though I suppose emotionally, but I still wouldnt know what to do without either of them and I'm not ready for that day.
