Non-horror movies that scared you as a kid?

The GOAT 1984 Ghostbusters movie scared me in multiple parts when I was a kid. I remember SCREAMING at the part where the library ghost hulks out and screams at the three scientists. Also later on when the arms shoot out of the chair and grab Dana, I was scared that the same would happen to me when I sat down on a sofa.

Seen the fire extinguisher scene in Irreversible when I was ~19 on an Ogrish type website, thought it was real (it was described as real and the quality made it look like an early cell phone video), was shaken up for 2 days.
Haven't felt like that since tricking myself into seeing Chechclear for the first time.

Ded srs. Watched this movie when I was really young and the way the people were dressed and how they moved around and sang and chit traumatized me. It literally still makes me kind of uncomfortable looking at pictures from the film to this day.

100% srs. I watched this movie called Jawbreaker and Blair Witch Project on the same night and I had nightmares for weeks about Jawbreaker. I literally only found out it was a comedy when I searched for this video.

Village of the Giants. Apparently it was supposed to be a comedy.

It was at least already 20 years old when I would still see it on TV as a kid.

This scene creeped me the fuk out. Everything from the music to the dancing. It made me hate any ideas I had about the 60s.
