It would only be alpha if you didnt have all that safety equipment on. Women see this and they take note, trust me. A harness gets a woman dry as hell.

I used to climb tress shirtless a few years ago back home and it always drew looks. I sure as hell would have blended into the background had I been using a rope or something.
You have been touched.
I am the reason your girlfriend pauses between texts.

depends on the type of work, that job was a bit sketchy because we were replacing and adding new reinforcing on a 30' boom -- so when we removed some angles the boom sagged and flexed pretty hard, you definitely imagine it snapping and falling the whole time you're working on it and it's the only thing you can tie off to

CN tower was pretty tense too because I was doing steel work on the side of the antenna about 1,600' in the air and if you drop something you can kill someone

The guy taking the photo probably lugged all your safety equipment up with one hand while talking on his cell phone with the other. And is standing on the beam you are drilling completely unharnessed for you to get the great background in your photo. He's the real alpha. haha

Seriously man, very cool. I've been up a few towers before but nothing nearly that high up though. How much movement at that height (swaying distance)? Its those sudden wind changes and the unexpected movements that make ones heart sink real quick.

Stay safe.

Alpha? No.

But Real Aesthetic
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

decent amount of sway -- probably a few feet of it, especially considering the length of those booms and the fact that we removed the crossbracing and the horizontal bracing.
it was like a trampolene out there.

Looks like a dream job, out in nature and away from dealing with retards.

I was using one of those magnetic drills once, got it set up ready to drill and mount a lighting post and was chatting with co workers and the generator started to glug lol.
****ing ran and caught the thing before it dropped. No strap for me lol but I wasn't at heights.

you can see the double lanyards clipped on to my back D ring, just a bit of the shock pack. I'm laid back in my pull strap wrapped around the top boom -- It's a Petzl ASAP that I use to adjust my height with my pull strap.
The pull strap is 5m of rope so I can drop down nice and low.
