Went to buy plywood earlier. Why tf is it labeled so weird? Am I just an idiot or ?

Was looking for 3/4 inch plywood but some of it was labeled 3/4 some of it was labeled 23/32 . Why do they do this? It makes no sense to me

Also wtf at how expensive plywood is. 3/4 inch sheet of birch is 114.00 dollars.

Nominal vs actual thickness. Don't know why they seem to use them interchangeably with plywood, it's not like they ever sell 2x4s as 1½x3½s

Same reason 2x4s are not actually 2"x4" anymore. Lumber companies make a few more boards out of a tree by doing it this way, and can increase their profits.

And the cucks will still buy it fkn LMAO

Entire NYPD should go on strike. You'll see then how quickly the mayor changes his tone.

One of my favorites. It is so similar to the world we’re living in. When it speaks of communism and the mongrel hordes. China/Russia. Animal house is next on my list.

Holy hell where do you live? Even here in chit tier California we can get oak or birch plywood at homedepot for around $80. I used to get em for $50 5-6yrs ago and find it hard to pay current prices.
