Plausible self-defense IMO since the dude did take a swing at him. A similar situation happened to me when I worked at a food court. This retard came in and sat at a table and started pointing and laughing at me with his mates. For no real reason; they were just dickheads. I ignored him for at least ten minutes but he kept doing it. I eventually gave him a WTF? look, then he came up to the counter and asked if I "had a problem". No matter how aggravating he was, and how much he intended on starting chit, I couldn't lay a finger on him otherwise I'd get fired.



Retail and hospitality employees don't get enough credit IMO. It takes incredible restraint and willpower not to smash someone's jaw into a thousand pieces when they're acting like this.

Yep. Very dangerous to piledrive someone in the ground like that, and sadly he could face charges for it. Even in security, if someone goes apechit and starts swinging at you, you can apply a RNC/other bloodchoke, but you release the very second he goes limp and drops. Even then, it's risky AF and assuming you're at the end of the escalation of force continuum.
