Forget the ring, put a down payment on a house. That's what my wife and I did.

Lab created ayyy lmao. Just don't tell her that part and you are golden pony boy. Many bishes might be offput by the fact its made in a lab so keep it don't ask don't tell. If she asks for specs say VS1, F (color), and excellent cut. Realistically its a flawless, colorless diamond, but rank it a little lower so it isn't so obvious and she will eat it up.

Edit: Also, look for a stone has no imperfections to the naked eye and beyond that don’t get too hung up on the cert. If you want the best ‘wow’ factor for your money look for a stone that has a wide table for the carat weight.
