There’s something off about Thor, I like him and all but you just don’t hear people praise him for being a good dude nor does he really give that vibe. Eddie on the other hand is close friends with Brian Shaw who is known to be pretty much the nicest guy in existence and Eddie is also a phenomenal actor/promoter as seen in this video. I think Eddie is also a much more natural athlete while giving up a ton of reach. I just hope it ends up in a KO not a gassed out bear hug fest.

Could be the Icelandic personality where people are more closed off and don't really speak much coupled with the level of ego you get when you're the best in the world at something. When you look at his early videos on youtube, he was quite awkward but opening up more and more.

I'm just shocked that Eddie never learned the technique over the year+ he had to train. He's still swinging wild like a lunatic. I'm calling brutal early KO by Eddie or it goes to later rounds and Thor finds an opening to put Ed to sleep. A controversy would always lead to a second match with another $1 mil + in the pockets of both guys, who knows what shenanigans they are up to.

Re. them gassing, surely these guys have been doing cardio for the past year, right? I know nothing about combat sports, is it just too difficult to build up proper stamina in that time, or because they weigh so much, or a bit of both?

They can do all the cardio they want, all that muscle requires a LOT of oxygen which is why bulky world level boxers half their size normally have poor gas tanks.

Thor is a boring coont who is up himself, I think he believes he is his character from game of thrones and I loved club fighter British journeyman cruiserweight Simon valilly giving him that cheeky little tap on the chin to remind him he could ko him whenever he felt like it if he wanted to.

Hall also loves himself and is annoying AF, he's smarmy and thinks he's a lot funnier than he is.
