What would you consider constitutes care?
I think care would be someone who has a genuine interest in your life, someone who would be sad if something bad happened to you, someone who would actually want to spend time with you etc

10-15 actually care.
50-100 would say they care because we know each other, but actually dont.

Yep, those 10=15 sound like true friends or family members
50-100 would be more like acquaintances or old friends who probably dont really give a fk about you but you would say hi and talk to them if you crossed paths

"Care" is hard to define. I would say a true marker is how they really feel about you if you start doing better than them in life. Especially when their lives are not going so well. Most people including immediate family will hope you do well, just not better than them. That's when you'll see their true colors and find out how much they really care about you and your happiness.

If you go by this definition and you find yourself in this position you might end up shocked by how few people really care and in fact are secretly hoping your life falls apart and you end up miserable just so they can feel better about themselves. Don't even be surprised if they're actively plotting to try to make that happen.

Do you feel this way about anyone in your immediate family? I can't say I feel this way about any of them. I do get jealous about some things though, but I don't want them to be worse off, it just pushes me to want to be better.

I will say this. People can wear 2 faces and keep you fooled for a VERY long time despite how well you think you know them or how well you think you can read people. People who've dealt with someone with a cluster B personality disorder will know what I'm talking about.
