How did you discover the MISC? Why did you stay?

curious to know how you degenerates discovered this forum.

i was googling vin diesel's/stallone's height and looking at google images. one hilarious image popped up and it brought me to the misc. that thread had me lol'ing and i've been here ever since. too bad i can't find it anymore.

I used to post on two other forums, one was a BB forum (Wannbebig, no longer exists) and the other was a lot like Misc only smaller (Rushmagazine, no longer exists). I found BB.com and started out posting in PL section, then wandered into Misc. Now I pretty much stay in Misc or R&P since PL section is basically dead.

I discovered the misc when googling random things. I always laughed at the threads I’d stumble upon and eventually I decided to start coming to the forum on purpose instead of accidentally ending up here due to google searches.

Stuck around for the laughs, interesting topics, and the knowledge. I was/am also interested in fitness/bodybuilding so the misc was a natural fit for me.

In HS when trying to learn how to get shredded. Was mostly a lurker then stopped coming for probably 10 years as life got busy, no idea what my username was. It's been much more relaxed the past few years so I kill time here. Even though it's nowhere near as entertaining and posts sit on the first page for hours rather than seconds its still not reddit tier and occasionally makes me laugh.

Thats essentially what brought me to bodybuilding.com. I was looking for working routines on the main site, then came across the picture gallerys and made about 800 posts there over the space of a few months. Then somehow I came across the misc section. That was that.

Stayed in the Programs, Exercises, and PL sections for a good while mostly lurking. Occasionally looked in misc for lols, especially when there were drama threads or chop threads.

Other sections became boring/repetitive/dead, same old arguments about programs and exercise selection.

Changed bookmark to misc, haven't been to other main forum sections in years.
