TIL Amish operate the largest puppy mills in the country (US)

A lot of the puppies you see in pet stores, guess where they come from ? Amish.

I thought they were supposed to be morally superior… hmm.

not only is it true but Amish people have a very high rate in of health issues due to inbreeding. they didn't even believe it until like 20 years ago. you would think they would be most sensitive to genetic coupling.

btw: real question is where does all there money go? they prolly don't believe in banks either. as they don't have elec and none nearby.

Yeah actually. Have you ever looked into an actual purebred breeder for a specific dog. They won’t breed dogs if they have bad genes and breed not just for physical traits but temperament.

You do know there are tonsss of reputable breeders for all kinds of dogs. Why do you think most labs/Goldens have terrible breed standards.
