What a dumb bitch. Dude should have said "Well if you don't want us to call 911 and you don't want us to throw it away, what do you recommend we do when we find a live grenade?"

I've noticed more and more people that look like they should not be a cop in that profession. I'll see people that look like they are high school kids. Makes perfect sense as it's a thankless job that has been warped into being considered an evil profession to the average oblivious idiot by the media. So many are quitting and what we are getting is the new generation of kids with no morals in that position.

She was probably right.
Fon du lac's bimb squad probably consisted of officers from oshkosh, menasha, etc and wouldve taken away a ton of officers from duty.

what is the back story?
When she says "every time you guys do this you're taking away resources" it makes me think there is a lot more to the story here, like they are testing explosives and finding out they are inert and then calling the police to dispose of them, etc..
If this is some group that just goes around searching for explosives and then calls the local police everytime they find one, thats annoying AF, they need to find and pay contractors to do that or create a non profit orginization which pays bomb disposal units to come in and do it.
Imagine some guys going around places and calling in the local bomb squad, which as orangetide said, is probably just a mix of officers from state and local agencies who are "on call" so you are having to call in 4-5 officers who may not even be on shift at the time, plus multiple supervisors.
I also don't know if her holier than thou attitude is her being a dumb **** or because she is prior military and has some knowledge on EOD. She gives off some former military vibes.

The profession is going through many changes obviously, we are seeing the shift away from the "war on drugs", a shift away from proactive policing where its heavy on stops, frisks, and warrants, and theres still older management that doesnt want to shift away from those things and only wants to hire people who have never smokes weed, have a 800+ credit score, and graduated from college.
The whole profession needs revision. Police aren't taught enough or managed by management that they are there to serve the public. Police, especially state and federal, are taught they serve the governmnet and are they to enforce laws. This is a HORRIBLE way to teach people entering the profession and manage them.
Police should be taught to be customer service based, with the ability to take charge physically if need be for violent criminals.

It's like those people who stand outside a police station, and take pictures of the station, and then when the police investigate, they're like, "Why do you want to know what I'm doing?"
Or the ones who purposely go to a court building and act like a jackass.

They know how a completely different situation was handled in a completely different state, so they should tell her how to behave.
