Been using Imgur myself

Always view Misc is desktop mode which helps a lot.
Upload to imgur, click share then open in browser,
Make sure imgur is opened in desktop mode, click photo and copy link at top corner.
Type the necessary and blam photo shared.

This. Most people use imgur because that was the go-to after photobucket, and imgbb wasn't around at the time. It's a lot more streamlined than imgur but imgur has more prevalence in the image sharing sphere.
