I don't understand how some situations happen. Like wtf goes through peoples' minds? I really believe that mental illness is prevalent in a LOT more people than is accounted for.

Yep, this happened at the lake here. Apparently the guy and girl were arguing and fell off the jet ski. The pontoon went to help them. Pulled the up out of the lake and the guy started hitting the driver and wife of the pontoon. They pushed him back into the water. He got back up and started in on them again and he died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Be happy while you're living, for you're a long time dead.
I am black.

I work in LE. We deal with 'mentally ill' people on a daily basis. Just about the only mentally ill people in crisis we've ever dealt with. That do not actively abuse drugs/alcohol. Are 'crack babies'. IE kids who's mothers are drug addicts and are born with narcotics in their system. Causes all kind of mental/behavioral issues later on. Even then those kids are prescribed a bunch of narcotics at a young age (under 10). So it still makes me question whats going on.
After years on the jobs and thousands of encounters with the 'mentally ill'. I've never run across a mentally ill adult that doesn't admit openly to actively using drugs. Whether its prescribed or not.

This story is nuts. If you wrote a fiction story of this people would never believe it.

Neither of them wearing life-jackets so dickheads to start with, decide to have a fight because they were no doubt high & dude falls in water-couple go to rescue him & he rewards them by attacking them. They push him back in the water & he decides to come back to attack them again. Deserved what he got.

Agree that people who can't swim should wear them though

There's no attempt to provide an investigative report on a story that is bizarre.
The story is obviously missing major details like the guy was insane, trying to kill himself, or people were on drugs.
If the man wanted to get back to his expensive jetski, why wouldn't they let him?
