Emasculated Married Men

what the **** is with this ****?

No seriously, what the ****? I went out to lunch with a few people from work and we went to Red Robin. One of the guys starts talking about how his wifeforbids him from going to Red Robinand that "Red Robin is not allowed in my house" which he said with a smile like it was no big deal and kind of endearing. I used to work with a few guys who were married, all of them about my age, they were giggling and joking about how their wives all have them whipped, saying "huh huh yeah my wife totally has my balls in her purse huh huh." Sorry bro that's not funny, nor will it ever be funny. It's like joking that your wife cuts up your food for you.

I got a bro who is married + kids. His wife loves dogs, bought two dogs without really talking to my bro about it. I go visit him and most of his house is full of miscellaneous dog crap. Dog toys, chewed up furniture, bits of dog blankets strewn about all over, a few of those gates they put in the doorways between rooms to keep the dogs out of bedrooms and the kitchen. The dogs have taken over, clearly. His house fcking sucks ass. He just kind of.... lets it happen. Recently I bought his kids some video games that were on sale. His wife refuses to let the kids play the video games despite them being age-appropriate. The reason? No reason. My bro says "I'm gonna stand my ground on this one! It's bull****!" Yeah, no, he didn't do ****. I asked his kids if they played the games and they said "We can't."

I can't chalk it up to the man being scared his wife will divorce him and take all his stuff, and other redpill talking points, etc. There is clearly both no attempt from the man to keep his autonomy and in most cases, the guy thinks it's adorable he's such a little bitch. I understand compromise and all, but I guarantee in these relationships the woman has zero respect for her husband. This all came to me because recently I'm watching the second season of Breaking Bad and you can tell what an absolute piece of chit woman Skyler is. That's what brought all this to the surface for me, really. Don't ruin the show for me btw.

Men with options tend not to marry. That means most brahs that marry either can only get this one gal or they lowkey want a dom mommy.

I wonder if they'll be joking about it in another 20 yrs? As a grown adult I would never let another grown adult call all the shots and forbid me to do anything.

These men are in for a long miserable road...

I'm guessing where you live "Red Robin" is a strip joint..and not the burger franchise..this can be the only logical explanation..

Look at the world right now

There are a LOT of people who have been molded to WANT to be told what to do

That's why so many people are all about "do what the government tells you" because they have been made to think this way, men and women. There are people out there who secretly like living life kind of like a dog. They long for being told what to do it makes them feel safe and comfortable.

It’s the opposite for me I forbid my girl going places if I decided it’s a no. She always obeys

Not married though but wouldn’t change anything

Yeah you can't just let your wife tell you what to do like that. It's a partnership not a dictatorship e.g. one of my first arguments with Mrs Beer was her getting pissy because I wouldn't carry her handbag for her. I told her I'd take the shopping if she wanted but I wasn't walking around the mall with her handbag. She didn't like it but she never asked to do it again.

I see this more times than not. Like it's extremely rare to see a marriage of couples around my age where the man isn't totally and utterly cucked to the woman's will. It's most pathetic when they try to make light of it, like it's an inevitable part of marriage.

I feel like it all boils down to a mans self worth. If other women want you, your value in your woman's eye is significantly higher. If you have the ability to game women and replace a them with ease. This sort of thing really isn't an issue. When you're emotionally and financially trapped. The dynamic shifts. You have to stay financially/emotionally ready to move on at any point.

Been with my girlfriend for about 3.5 years now. I've been clear with her from the start that she's replaceable. If she gets fat or out of line that's a wrap. If at any point she gets disagreeable or argumentative that's a wrap. Furthermore I kind of affectionately/jokingly reinforce that if she starts slipping there is no guarantee I won't 'cheat' on her until she gets back where she needs to be. You really have to be at a point where you don't care if the relationship tanks.

Women don't want to admit it but they like a strong man with standards and self respect. You can be upfront. IE 'I love you, but I don't need you. I'll have a great life with or without you.'

Didn't read the wall of text in the OP but not even close to correct.

My balls have been drained twice today, the wife cleaned my garage and organized my work bench a couple hours ago and I'm currently sitting on the back porch with my dog and 2 year old drinking my 9th beer and enjoying the scent of dinner being cooked in wafting out of the kitchen windows. She asked me to pick out the dessert I wanted too and I picked her peanut butter brownies.

Some wives are really awesome but most do suck.

Simps gonna simp.

HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE AMIRITE?

Some people are legit raised like this, an society somewhat reinforces it. My wife's father is like this. He is so incredibly cucked by his new wife that it blows my mind.

Also lmao at your girl sticking around 3.5 years without marriage. She must not have any good options herself if she’s just waiting around instead of moving on to a man who will commit to her.
LMAO

Did you forget about the back story you constructed for your own character? Idiot.

My wife is self employed attorney with others working for her so you can imagine she's very headstrong. However I do whatever I want when I want and respects me for it. I'm certain that if I rolled over did what she wanted we would have been done long ago

set your boundaries early, establish your wants and expectations. make your partner happy and feel special, sure, but don't make them your only source of entertainment and happiness. have your own hobbies and friendships, and maintain them even after marriage. don't let the kid run the house either for that matter.

don't be that guy who gets a girl or has a kid and completely disappears. 'asking for permission' might sound cute in the beginning but down the road those guys resent their wives and end up either miserable or cheating, at least from my experience around co workers and buddies.

and yes i know having kids means you need constant coverage but work that stuff out. let her have nights out as well. make it a priority. otherwise somebody tends to take over, bad precedents are set and years will fly by.

Lol, no guy is getting married nowadays after only 12 months of dating. If you're getting rid of a guy after 12 months, you were bound to be an old cat lady.

If you always stand your ground and act like a man everyday, a woman will know who you are and if they like you they accept that and you let them know you wont be a little bitch for them. Then you pick strong independent women, and if you find one of those who accepts that you are the man in the relationship and enjoys that about you, you will have a much better life.
