Existential crisis thread
Where sometimes you seem to understand that the people who were once here, that you loved are gone... And life still moved on. We still went about our daily lives and the only difference is that a small group of people randomly would think about the person that passed a few times a year
It's sad to understand that in the end our existence is so tiny and insignificant in alot of ways. The older you get, the "faster" time moves on. And in the end the overwhelming majority of us will have not left a single mark on this planet. But have gone through vastly more heartache and negativity than positives.
Filling your time with hobbies and things to look forward to seem to only "mask" that thinking.
Let's discuss

At least we're all pretty much in the same boat.
Nothing lasts forever. Nothing.

Our limited state is what makes us valuable.
We don't have enough time to listen to all the music that has been created, or to know and spend time with all the people alive today.
You get a handful of each. Cherish them.

The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

From the right perspective, there is a lot of motivation to be found here. You are focusing on the negative aspects of death.

PS: Don't eat poop, just don't let the idea of it stop you from living life to its fullest.

Who cares if no one will remember me? I'll be too dead to realize it.
Hell, I could be the very first immortal. If I'm wrong, not like I'd know lol!

You aren’t wrong.
Life zooms by and even all the memories of loved ones eventually go away too.
It’d be depressing af to think about it constantly though or acknowledge it regularly even to yourself.
May as well just try to live life in the moment, every moment and enjoy the ride. When it ends it ends and there’s no way of stopping that so no reason to keep it in mind.

This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.
