The thread for you to get huffy puffy about your salary and accomplishments
This is the thread for all of you guys with small penises that are really driven to succeed and compensate.
This is a safe space for those who, for instance, might have been bullied or made to feel inadequate early on in life, and endeavored to "set themselves apart" from the pack. We don't judge here.
This is the thread to gloat about your salary and accomplishments, or other material possessions you're really proud of

Since someone asked, me:
- grew up poor
- went to college, top school for accounting
- hung around in entry level positions for 5 or so years
- hate everyone in accounting and business
- no desire to move up
- quit my last job cause fed up
- sorta financially independent since i saved, despite making peanuts
- looking to take a $12/hour labor/clerk job part time and be done with it
Could write a book about how much i hate office life and how rigged it is

HINT - No one wants to hire/promote an entitled miserable crybaby like OP who can't shut up about how much he hates the very people who pay his salary and is comfortable providing no actual value.
With his attitude, OP is the last person any company would want to hire/promote.
A good start for OP would be to stop crying and fist himself.
That said, I made about 225k last year (not including investments/other income) working 100% from home.

Going back to school as an adult and kicking its ass is probably my proudest achievement to date, although the last 8 years of working have been far more challenging
You’re suggesting that desire for achievement is associated with negative experiences/attributes but research suggests it’s the opposite and that positive reinforcement etc in early development is what feeds into Need for Achievement
The theory around this is pretty interesting, learned about it in one of my management courses

There's a million theories about everything, merely conjectures. We just went through the biggest crisis of yay science and people still swear by random theories that scraggly old lame as fukk professors come up with that don't even get tested

It is funny/cute though when i see people so eager to use these boomer lines like they use it as an opportunity to grandstand about how great they are while acting like they're being some kind of Jocko mentor - lmao. I understand though, you're in a big rush to run out and grandstand and act superior - for EXACTLY the reasons I stated in the OP, i can only guess. You keep on proving the original point
