Is 170-180 6Ft the Ideal? Historically and Contemporarily Considered?

In this age of the 180lb average female weight, you will appear weak
But that's only a superficial view
At that slim weight, you can still be more than moderately strong
You can have excellent explosive power and unmatched endurance
You can go far distances on very little food very fast
You're not heavy to where balance or long term health is sacrificed
You will have a classical boxy physique and not a tinny short abdomen region
Of course misc doesn't care about any of that and few people do
Especially in this modern age of bloats mogging everywhere

I’m 5’11 and not far from 200lb lean and still feel small AF. You gotta atleast be 190 at 6ft, keyword atleast

Yes. If you're those dimensions and have low bodyfat you're probably able to lift as heavy as other dudes in the gym that are much heavier, but you can still run respectable times. A build like most track sprinters is often idealized for good reason. Up to 190 if you have very powerful, built legs. Beyond that it doesn't matter if it's all muscle, you can't move as well even if you're on gear.

Very athletic males tend to be 185lbs at 6 ft. But consider that lean and dense. Muscle bellies are full and the body is balanced. With PEDs, it’s just created a new “normal” of “big” and strong.

A good example is to look at fighters.

Probably depends on overall leanness and structure. Along with what you consider ideal.


I'm 5'8 192lbs and I really don't feel like I've peaked yet. Goal is a lean 200lbs.

henry cavil was 200lbs in superman when he was what people considered "jacked" at the time, but I think that definition has changed and most women will see this as just a pretty good body for a guy who goes to the gym a good amount now.
Standing just over 6 feet tall and weighing around 90kg, he requires more calorie consumption than your average dude. In fact, when preparing for the role of Superman, he claimed to eat up to 5000 calories per day!
