What's the deal with fat people?
I just don't get it. You are gifted one short life. Why would you choose to live it as a fat person? Just a worse version of yourself. Much less attractive, less athletic, less healthy. Everything is just worse when you choose to be fat. A life wasted.

Most people give up after 25-30 because hormones change, stress/boredom and because the culture promotes it

A part of it is culture, you can't escape drinking. Coworkers always want to drink and eat greasy wings and burgers. You're looked at as an incel if you decline both

A huge part of it is genetics
For example I struggle to gain weight no matter how much I eat and not one person in my family is fat
It seems like every fat person has a fat family member
And some people can stay fat at 2500 calories

its the most basic reward principal
eat food = get reward
unfortunately you dont get other benefits from that low level of thinking
more advanced human brains realize eat food = fuel = control how my body looks and feels = reap benefits from how body looks and feels = 100x the rewards
in essence, fat people are stupid and/or lazy, even successful intelligent ones, then they obviously fall into the lazy or stupid category, respectively

Mouthfeel, comfort, depression, indifference, enabled, vicious circle.
Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.

I was really fat, like close to 300 lbs (and 5'7") for about two decades until I figured out I have an eating disorder. I have Tourette Syndrome as it is and it comes with every anxiety, panic attack, sleep disorder and every other kind of neurotic issue you can think of.
My dad died when I was 7 and Mom was kind of a kook which didn't help. I was a really skinny kid, but it all caught up with me in college.
Don't even get me started on vindictive abusive females. Nothing but bad experiences in my youth, though some of it was my fault with my Nice Guy Syndrome issues. I'll be 50 years old Saturday and still technically have my V-card in tact. Some canoodling here and there is all I've ever experienced. You can imagine how it drives me insane sometimes.
I got determined to do something about it, and have made huge progress, but it's been really hard and a slow process since I'm still chubby.
I'm basically an alcoholic who eats instead of drinks. I recently had to got on medication called Semiglutide, which is what diabetics use, to feel too full to want to eat, so then my emotions aren't dealt with and I have to figure something else out, which has also been hard.
I agree that some people just don't care and are just lazy and gluttons, but there are those of us out there who have fighting an uphill battle all our lives.

I know how you feel though mom died when I was 9
I don’t understand how people can get fat, it’s a hassle for me to eat enough to maintain.

I got fat really slowly. It took more than a decade from 1990 when I entered college.

if there is ever a reason for a prostitute this is one, jfc being 50 years old and never getting to sleep with a woman is not okay, that is a wasted life
When people say there is more to life than fukking bitches, they are half right, but also half wrong, because there IS nothing better in life than sex. Theres more to life than sex, but nothing really better, except potent drugs but too many drawbacks there.

That "one life to live" logic works both ways though. Some would say you should live the best life and be in the best health possible; others would say f_ck it, let me live in total debauchery and gluttony.

Well it is their life, so as much as I lol or feel disgusted at them, if they are happy, whatever.

the people who are like 100+ pounds overweight i'd bet mostly suffered a traumatic childhood experience and they use food as therapy... when it gets that bad, something has obviously created a warped relationship with food
in america almost everyone is anywhere from 10-50 lbs overweight and i'd say it's largely because most food that is cheap and easily accessible is ridiculously unhealthy, addictive and delicious... i don't eat mcdonald's anymore because it just makes me think of a heart attack and diabetes, but I can't deny that it's ****ing delicious
