For a relationship I agree with you.

He can find some gold diggers who would put up with him but it's not fun to fool yourself into a relationship with someone who doesn't really want to spend time with you deep down. Even if they're a good actress it will always be obvious. Will make every moment totally unenjoyable apart from the sex.... so if you go that route you might as well not pretend and just pay high quality hookers.
