Thinking of going to tradie school
Long story short, I’ve got a career already, and only want to do it so I am able to perform my own electrical work as a licensed electrician for the rest of my life. Other benefits would be that I’d have a skill to fall back on, and would, you know, learn things and become a more useful person.
I got an estimate from an electrician to install an outdoor outlet for 2k. I have much more work that needs to be done than that, I’m talking whole house rewirings, panels and all. More than one property. My local community college offers a year long program to be eligible for licensing for $2500. Worth it? Anyone else do something like this?
