Ive always been poor so it’s just natural. Even if I was making good money I genuinely feel I’d still be frugal AF

Used to be a 8-10. Flying spirit airlines, eating Ramen, fixing my own stuff.

Now I'm about a 2, I don't throw money out the window but I don't look at the price of anything under 10k and don't look at my credit card purchases as I pay them off every night. Only fly first class delta domestically and I hire just about everything out unless I want to do it myself. Instead of selling our old stuff we either give it away on ********, donate it or throw it away.

I didn't know banks had this. Here's mine from my main personal not joint or business accounts. Doesn't include mortgages or anything household, those come from joint.

I can be weird about it. I can make 8 meals out of one whole chicken, don't buy a single thing that's not on my meal plan/shopping list, make my own cleaning products, most of my clothes are thrifted, I rarely eat out.

And yet my bath bomb I've been saving for tomorrow costs 10 dollars lol make it make sense

The bills portion of that was like 4k higher than it usually is because of taxes I owed from 2019 that I paid last month lol (ded fkn Srs)

I just like getting good value for my money but I'm quite generous and don't care about money much. I spend a fair amount of time comparing product quality to cost ratio though, and become loyal to ones which I think are a good deal

Still pretty high even though I no longer need to be....grew up poor and struggled through college and there after till I was about 28.

-I still look at prices on the menu and refuse to order the most expensive thing even if I want it.
-Still buy the best option of price/quality when it comes to tools and such. If I can get a decent product for cheap I will vs just buying DeWalt (for example) just because I know it will be good.
-Still shop around to get the best price on something I want
-I'd rather do something myself than pay someone to do it....even it's a relative inconvenience for me.
-Still fly "budget airlines"
-Still only buy what's "necessary"

...and I dont need to do any of this.....after bills are paid for the month, I'm saving/investing like $2k/month

Would say like a 7-8 overall but it varies by item, I'll spend a lot on stuff if I think the added value is worth the additional cost. I'm really all about value rather than price, and I'll pay as little as possible for items that I think add the same value as much more expensive versions. My woman and I also shop hard for deals, use coupons at McDonalds, and will spend a lot of time ruminating over relatively small purchases.

But I'll also turn around and happily donate to a food bank or hand out big tips

Not sure what number I'd put myself at but I'm pretty frugal. I will spend on quality though, as those things will last for a long time. I shop sales and go out of my way to farmers market because my produce is much cheaper there than the grocery store. I turn all bottles like shampoo, lotion, soap, etc. upside down to get every last drop out of them. I very rarely eat out or buy takeout and cook 99% of my food.
