And that is what stood out to me. The (rather progressive) vision of the future at that point (1960s) starkly contrasted with how thing are today. Instead of being beyond words, we are more sensitive to them than ever.

We have an attractive Black female and two Chadly White males being civil with each other regarding race relations....

Sadly in our modern era people scream and yell like children whenever race issues are brought up.

It honestly comes off as a representation of how progressivism has changed, in terms of fundamental ideals. What progressives hoped for in the 1960s is totally at odds with what many progressives are supporting today.
