All of my co-workers come from upper class back grounds, private school, succesful families and from more wealthy counties (posh accents basically) i just feel like i cant fit in at all. They all talk about musical orchestras/travel to exotic places and chit i dont even understand what it is. The funny bit is, im actually probably more wealthy than them. I just dont spend money keeping up with jones' and invest. I live cheap and prefer pints over glasses of wine, charity shops and chilling at home with freinds with drinks instead of wasting it at an upper class bar.

Well considering I’m the only person working at my office who didn’t go to college (srs) and everyone else comes from an upper middle class to straight up rich family while I was raised by a single dad working 65 hour/week minimum wage tradie job, I’d say there is a class divide. Very hard to relate to most of my coworkers and basically everyone in any professional environment I’ve ever been in. WFH has helped though.

TFW all of your coworkers know judges, politicians, CEOs, etc. through their upbringing and all you know is line cooks, barbers, tattoo artists, junkies, ex-cons and SSI scammers. Ded fkin srs.
