Ask a Guy Who Watched Someone Die Last Night Anything

I am an EMT student and last night I was in the Trauma Center. They brought an older female in that was in cardiac arrest. A staff member did one round of CPR, then I did two rounds, and the doctor said she's dead and to stop resuscitation. Technically, she was dead about 30 minutes before but that's not really the type of thing that gets declared until they make it to the hospital.

I don't know is she was vaccinated. She probably was because she was in a nursing home. She had extremely high cholesterol, was on dialysis, and had diabetes. It was a natural death.

Everyone had a moment of silence, all the staff left the room except the guy that did paperwork, myself and a tech, who prepared the body for the family to view.

i remember my first patient death, she woke up, grabbed my hand, smiled for a second then exhaled followed by bubbly froth at the mouth, my classmate in the room "HOLY **** SHES DEAD"

Hopefully something crazy tonight when I'm on an ambulance. I live in a large east coast city with all types of craziness.
