My pitbull got attacked by another dog today (srs) (pics)

Was on my walk this morning with my pitbull when all of a sudden this lady's dog (little dog, maybe 35 pounds, nothing compared to my big 85 lb pittie) came loose from its collar and came at my dog and starting attacking it (srs). Had to restrain my dog to keep it from killing the other dog, while keeping my dog from getting bit. The lady ended up getting her dog under control eventually and was screaming profanities at me (100% srs)

Ran into the same lady later this evening and she was extremely apologetic, apologized for screaming at me (she admitted she was panicking), and she said her dog had to get stiches due to being bit by my dog, but that my dog was in the right for defending itself. She even gave me two bones for my dog (srs) she also offered to pay for any vet bills if my dog was injured, but my dog is completely fine

he is mostly pit and lab, maybe has some other things too but I adopted him a couple years ago and he's an excellent boy. Extremely affectionate and cuddly too (srs) and has a lot of funny tendencies

Hes a good boy because of the lab in em. Had he been dominate in pit genetics he wouldnt of got mugged on. I had a lab mix and best dog ever

I feel for you, people assume my dog is a pit, dna test says she's 85% American staffy and 15% beagle. She's the nicest dog I've ever met and won't attack a dog even if she's being attacked. One day a drunk lady was standing in her driveway with her akita and it came after my dog and she got folded like a lawn chair and my dog was just trying to hide behind me while getting bitten. Was kicking the dog when the husband came out and was yelling and swearing at me like it was my fault his drunk hoe wife couldn't handle their dog. Ended up with some pretty deep bites in her neck and shoulder but she was fine. Called animal control after that because I had seen that dog attack their neighbors mastiff too for no reason, never saw the dog again.
