That stuff is relatively weak compared to other products, but 100% a good idea.

People saying "get a gun" aren't being realistic. You should have something on your keychain that can defend you. OC Spray fits that bill perfectly. I've talked to multiple people who intended to rape and kill women, and the amount of annoyance and fight the women gave them (fighting back, screaming, pepper spray, etc) prevented them from doing that. A lesson I've told every woman in my family. Don't hate on pepper spray, if you got sprayed with it you'd be crying like a bish too.

relevant story:

as a minor I went to juvenile hall for a drug offence

while there a fight broke out and the officers sprayed it with OC to break it up

I was an entire housing unit over and was tearing up, choking, and coughing from particles slipping through the cracks in my door

the stuff is STRONG, very irritating to the eyes and lungs
